Feel like sh@#? Here are Steps to Refresh, Revitalize and Reboot Your system!
How? I am not talking about any crazy new detox or latest diet. For many it can even be free. How do you achieve this mental state of bliss? It’s called a workout! Sitting at your desk all day hunched over in front of your computer is obviously not ideal for anyone’s mental or physical status. To break up your day, take a 20 minute break and exert some of that pent up energy by doing some kind of activity. I prefer something rigorous where I really have to focus on my workout, and nothing else. Others might need a nice walk outside. You will come back to work or whatever you were doing more energized and focused. Try this: as soon as you are done working out, write down how you feel. Write down how your body feels, what your energy level is like, and how you feel mentally. Then, next time you do not feel like working out, read to yourself how you felt after your last workout and it should do all of the motivation for you. All of those little stressors, people that made you mad or upset, things you could not figure out, float out of your mind because you are not focused on them anymore.
Here are your top 10 reasons to start and continue working out in 2012:
1) You will feel amazing mentally and physically. Who doesn’t want to be happier?
2) You are doing something great for your WHOLE body every time you work out.
3) Having better confidence, every single day. At home, at work…
4) Knowing you have a BEACH body all year long, even during winter.
5) An increased metabolism.
6) You will have more energy overall, and will be able to keep up with your kids!
7) Your body gets stronger every time you work out. More muscle=increased metabolism.
8 ) Increased immunity. That means getting sick less!
9) A fantastic way to deal with stress and not take it out on someone else.
10) Mental clarity. You will be more focused and efficient with your daily activities.
